What is A-Club?
A-Club is a multi-cultural, international social club, for people in their twenties and thirties, based in Brussels, Belgium.
Whether you've arrived in Belgium recently or have been here all your life, it's a great way to get to know new people and enjoy what Brussels has to offer.
What sort of things do you do?
We run a wide variety of events, mostly at weekends or on Friday evenings - these include restaurant and bar evenings, cinema nights, walks in the countryside, visits to places both in Belgium and abroad, parties at member's houses, cultural activities, ...
How do I find out about events?
The program on this site lists events for the coming month.
Our regular communication is done via an email mailing list. You will receive emails before the events, letting you know all the relevant details.
How do I join?
Send a mail to aclubbrussels@yahoo.com and ask us to add your address to our email mailing list.
By signing up:
- You accept to receive mails from this account and that it is not spam.
You may leave at any time you like by simply sending us a mail. - You accept to have your own private insurance as well as 3rd party / civil liability. The club is of a facilitating nature and has no insurance coverage and hence will not be liable in any way for any injury to you or caused by you to another person. It will neither be responsible for any incident that is caused due to unforeseen circumstances.
- You accept that the organising team members of the club are not responsible in any manner, personally or otherwise, for any incident / accident that may take place during an event.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! There is no membership fee.
We try to keep events inexpensive. If an activity has any particular costs, we'll let you know.
Who are the organising team members? What do they do?
The regular organising team are: Adrian, David, Jette & Nick. They co-ordinate the program, update the website, plan some of the events, and send you the details. In addition, many events are organised by other members.

Do I need to book up for events?
Some events have limited capacity - for example, we may need to make an advance reservation at a restaurant. For these, if you intend to come, please reply to your email as soon as possible to tell us.
Other events, like bar or cinema evenings, are open to all - you can just turn up on the day.
The emails you receive will tell you whether you need to sign up for a particular activity.
I can't get to any events now, but I'd like to hear about what you've got planned for the future. Can I still join?

How many members do you have?
There are well over 900 names on our mailing list - so there's always someone new to meet.
I have an idea for a future event - how can I suggest it?
Great! Ideas for different events are always welcome - you can discuss it with any of the organising team in person, or send an email to aclubbrussels@yahoo.com. You're also welcome to come along to our informal organising team meetings, on the last Friday of each month, at which we put together a program for the coming month.
I took some photos at an event - could they go on the website?
Yes, email us at
We'll be glad to receive digital photos or scanned photos - along with your informative or amusing captions!
We can also scan in photos - please send an email.
However, the quickest way to get your photos online is to place them on an online photograph storage site like Fotki.com, Photobucket or Yahoo! Photos.
